Having received official notification that the "Team USA Downhill Tubing Squad" may have openings for athletes to join them in the next Winter Olympic Games,
we headed to the training grounds.

After the credential check and passing through security,  we were given full access and allowed to train in the "Tubing Village" at Snoqualmie Summit for the  afternoon.

The "Team USA" coaching staff looked on in amazement.  Never before had they seen a group of individuals with such natural talent and skill !

They exclaimed,  "This group of professionals could easily propel this sport to an entirely new level! "

Due to the confidentiality issues,  cameras were not allowed inside the village.  We paid the guards to keep their eyes closed and  were able to sneak a few shots outside the grounds as we entered our vehicle.

We feel very good about our performances this past Sunday and look forward to our invitation to the Winter Games!

And remember...If you can't be an athlete,  be an athletic supporter!

Editor's note:  The crew "headed for the hills" from Moses Lake Washington; a town in Eastern Washington known as "The desert oasis".
