Just Farm Kids Playing With Ziggy |

| Whatcha' Doin' Over There? | |
| Today as I was doing housework, I realized
it was REALLY QUIET in the house. The kids were missing and I
could hear the distant rumble of the tractor, as Tim chugged along
working on his latest project out on the property.
I found Preston and Erin close to the house. As I watched out the window, they rocked in the swing with Ziggy nearby. I thought is was very sweet that Erin was petting his nose talking to him. Well, upon closer look -- much to my alarm -- Erin had a grip of the quarter horse's mouth, using his lips like a puppet! I have no idea how long they had been playing that game with him, or why Ziggy hadn't TAKEN HER HAND OFF, but all three seemed to enjoy the interaction. Ziggy just stood there and let Erin do it. Erin and Preston were giggling hysterically at what the horse was "saying". As I approached them, I heard the horse say, "POOP... POOP... POOPie!" Ummm, must be the parenting skills -- or lack there of. <blushing> Every day is an adventure.

| We adopted Ziggy back when Erin was just a month old. He has never been ridden, since he had broke his shoulder when he was just 2 years old. The woman who owned him couldn't bring herself to put him down, but had 23 other horses to care for. She was relieved when I agreed to take him. | |

| In the 5 years that we've had him, Ziggy has grown to be beautiful and sweet natured. He is here to live out his days on our farm. | |
